With an illustrious career spanning 40 years in the insurance sector, O’Donnell brings unparalleled expertise and vision to XS GLOBAL.

Renowned for his global leadership roles at Chubb / ACE as well as for his strategic acumen in setting underwriting strategies, Mr. O’Donnell has had a distinguished career trajectory. His tenure at Chubb, where he was part of Chubb Group’s Executive Leadership Team and held roles such as Vice President and Division President Overseas General Property & Casualty Insurance, showcased his executive leadership for Chubb Commercial P&C business outside North America.

Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, he served as Executive Vice President, Financial Lines, for ACE Group’s international insurance operations. Mr. O’Donnell joined ACE in 2003 and was named Division President, Professional Lines, North America, in 2011, after serving as Division President, Professional Risk, ACE USA. Previously, he held senior leadership positions at AIG and served in senior underwriting roles at several national and global carriers and brokers. Mr. O’Donnell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Boston College.
